Welcome to L & D Custom Bike Wurks Continuing the
creative works of "Looney Bike Wurks" Better known as "Looney" in the bike, boat and automotive world, Lynn's favorite tongue-in-cheek advice to those seeking his mechanical council was, "Yer Screwed" and "Don't screw up a perfectly good bike"-- especially in cases where his seeming insensitivity was about to result in a new product of his invention. He started customizing and designing parts for the Yamaha Road Star when they first appeared in 1999. We are indeed proud to offer his many parts and inventions, and to continue his legacy. We are also developing new parts and designs in the tradition of fine craftsmanship and quality that Looney always demanded of himself. They will be added to our offerings only when we feel they would meet Lynn's approval. Everyone fortunate enough to have worked with Looney quickly realized his knowledge and insight on all things Road Star was unsurpassed in North America, and perhaps beyond. It was also evident that beneath his crusty exterior was a big soft hearted center. We would never pretend to mimmic the quirks of his personality... nor would we want to. We only ask you (our customer) to give us the opportunity to demonstrate that Looney's craftsmanship, quality, skill, and kindness did not die with him. Welcome to our
